Antenatal - All your antenatal care will be in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Your appointments are unhurried and arranged to suit individual need. As well as a physical checkup with your consent, to make sure you and your baby are well, we spend time discussing and any worries or anxieties you may have. We are always available to talk to on the telephone in-between visits. Any antenatal tests or screenings, should you choose to have them, can be arranged either via the NHS or privately if you prefer. NHS care is still available for care should you choose it or it a need arises. We have a wide range of books, research papers, journals, and videos all at your disposal. From 38 weeks onwards your primary midwife is ‘on-call’ for your birth.
Labour and Birth - We will be with you throughout labour and birth wherever you decide to be. You can call us whenever you feel you need us in labour. We provide all the equipment necessary for a safe home birth. After your baby is born we stay until we are all reassured that all is well.
Post Natal Care - Depending on what time your baby is born we will visit you later that day or early the next day. During our visits we will be checking to ensure you and your baby remain well. We will support you during this tiring and emotional time as new parents. We help you establish and continue breastfeeding. Our visits are frequent in the first week and then reduce as you become more confident adapting to parenthood. We are always available to talk to on the telephone in-between visits. We visit for up to one month after your baby is born.
